Earth Day Event
Is Web-Based
The community is invited to participate in a web-based educational program 1:30-2:30 p.m. April 22, Earth Day.
Forest Service staff, the Sitka Tribe of Alaska, and Tribal citizens will tell how to grow Tlingit potatoes, and show the biology, history and cultural aspects of the potatoes.
Attendees should use a laptop or desktop computer or tablet and are being encouraged to sign in a few minutes early using their full name. Organizers will use a Teams meeting at: https://tinyurl.com/tlingitpotatoes for both video and audio.
