Item Pulled From Assembly Agenda

    Item K, related to the application of the city sales tax cap to long-term service and construction contracts, has been pulled from tonight’s Assembly agenda.
    City staff said several issues need to be worked out before it goes before the Assembly.
    “I got a number of calls from contractors who were concerned about the implications of the interpretation,” Interim City Administrator Hugh Bevan said. “I want to look at it and see if there’s a way to do it in a way that’s more acceptable to the contracting community.”
