Police received the following calls by 8 a.m. today.

January 11

A downtown bar reported a theft at 1:32 a.m.

A disturbance was reported on Indian River Road at 4:47 a.m.

At 11:31 a.m. a welfare check was requested at the totem park visitor center.

At 12:11 p.m. a caller reported littering in the 2100 block of HPR.

Suspicious activity was reported in the 700 block of Katlian at 1:28 p.m.

At 3:27 p.m. a welfare check was requested in the 1300 block of SMC.

At 3:27 p.m. suspicious activity was reported in the 500 block of Lincoln Street.

At 10:22 p.m. a welfare check was requested on Indian River Road.

January 12

At 1 a.m. citizen contact was made at 100 Harbor Way.

At 1:04 a.m. criminal mischief was reported at Blatchley Middle School.

Emergency Calls

Sitka Fire Department received ambulance calls at 2:03 p.m., 3:34 p.m., 6:36 p.m. and 8:09 p.m. Monday; and 2:36 a.m., 5:17 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. as of 9 a.m. today.
