Children’s clothing sizes 0 to 18, toys, games and puzzles are on sale for half price at the White Elephant Shop through Saturday.

Raffle Tickets

On Sale Friday

The Sitka Maritime Heritage Society will be selling raffle tickets for a quilt and other prizes 4-6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at Sea Mart.

Sitka artist Joanna Perensovich has designed and created the quilt, titled “A Beacon Bright,” which will be on display. A total of 500 tickets, at $20 each, will be sold. The drawing is March 24.

The quilt is an original work of art and measures 64 inches wide by 52 inches high. First draw will be the quilt, second draw will be a framed art print of a sailing ship by marine artist Steve Mayo, and the third draw will be for a handheld VHF radio, donated by LFS Marine.

The drawing is conducted by the Sitka Elks Lodge 1662, Permit 7.
