‘Farha’ to Show
At Unitarian Hall
A free showing of “Farha,” the Jordanian film that Israel has been pressuring Netflix to remove from its service, will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Unitarian Fellowship Hall.
“Farha” is an historical drama about the coming of age of a 14-year-old Palestinian girl as violence breaks out in 1948 Palestine. The film moves from beautiful scenes of village life to the horrors of war as viewed by Farha through a peephole in the locked storeroom where she has been hidden.
All are invited to attend the free event. The hall is at 408 Marine Street.
