Superior Court Judge Jude Pate has approved the terms of an out-of-court settlement and dismissed a consolidated lawsuit involving the cross claims of Connor Nelson and Aaron Bean and Green Leaf Inc. relating to property at 4614 Halibut Point Road that Nelson had rented to Bean for his marijuana growing business.
The details of the settlement were not announced.
“The dismissal includes all claims that may be brought by either of the parties against the other, including claims related to businesses that either owns or operates,” Pate said in the May 20 Order Granting Stipulation to Dismiss with Prejudice Subject to Confession of Judgment.
A trial was to begin Monday, but it was canceled in light of the settlement.
On April 11 Pate granted a stipulated motion for judgment in favor of Nelson, in the amount of $42,939, in another lawsuit he had filed against Bean and Green Leaf.
