Transition Sitka will Zoom Kord Christianson’s personal thoughts in the presentation “Sitka’s Energy Resources and Paths to Community Resilience” 4-5:30 p.m. Sunday, March 20.
‘‘There will be time for questions and discussing a community vision for our municipal utility,’’ organizers said.

Health Networking
Group to Meet
The Sitka Health Summit Coalition’s monthly Wooch.een (‘‘together,’’ in Tlingit) health networking and learning meeting will be held virtually noon-1 p.m. Thursday, March 17.
The purpose of the meeting is to spark partnerships and to promote cross sector collaboration, learning, and networking to improve the well-being in Sitka. For information go to sitkahealthsummit.org.

Artwork Sought
For Silent Auction
The Friends of Sheldon Jackson Museum is seeking artwork donations of all kinds by March 18 for its silent auction.
The event supports the Native Artist Residency Program which brings Alaska Native artists to Sitka to share and teach their creative work.

    Alaska Day Board
    Meets March 15
    The Alaska Day Committee board will meet 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, at Centennial Hall.
    The theme for the October Alaska Day Festival is “Alaska Pioneer Homes – Caring For Our Elders.”
    All are welcome to attend the meeting. Agenda items include planning for the upcoming festival. Any questions can be directed to chairman Ted Allio at 752-7556.

Joint Meeting
Alaska Native Brotherhood and Alaska Native Sisterhood will hold a joint business meeting 5:15 p.m. March 16 at the ANB Founders Hall. Current and former members are being encouraged to attend. The meeting is open to the public.
