Indian Taco, Clam
Chowder Sale Set
The American Legion Auxiliary will have an Indian taco and clam chowder sale 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 14, at the American Legion Hall.
Tacos are $10, fried bread $5, and clam chowder, $5.
Proceeds will go to building expenses. Food is available on site, or for pickup and delivery at 747-8629.
Keet PAC Meets
Keet Gooshi Heen will hold a PAC meeting noon Tuesday, May 11, in the school’s mulrtipurpose room.
Topics to cover include Title 1, PEAKS testing and family engagement.

Spring Troll
Fisheries Listed
The Alaska Department of Fish and Game has announced commercial spring troll fishery openings.
Sitka area openers include: Redoubt Bay May 12−13; Sitka Sound May 8–12; Salisbury Sound May 13−15; Yakutat area, Yakutat Bay May 10.
Weekly troll openings will be announced each Friday. Spring troll openings begin at 12:01 a.m. and close at 11:59 p.m. The Western Channel, Goddard, West Crawfish Inlet, Mountain Point, and Rock Point spring troll Chinook areas will open initially during the week of May 30. The Northern Chatham Strait, Point Couverden, Homeshore, Cross Sound, South Passage, and Keku Strait hatchery chum salmon areas will open on June 15: Chinook salmon retention is prohibited.
