Kitty LaBounty, local naturalist and birder, will talk about some of the local birds while the group paints or draws. Norm Campbell will start the presentation with a bird drawing, and Pat Kehoe will paint with watercolors. Individuals can join the group with any medium of their choice.
While the group works, LaBounty will discuss the birds and their habits and habitat, and answer questions. Painters can pick one bird to work on, or all three. The bird reference photos by Matt Goff will be available to work from and also will be on the website www.islandartistsgallery.com under the stories.
‘‘When you finish, we would love to have you post your efforts as a comment on the Island Artists Gallery Facebook page or just check out what others are posting there,’’ the sponsors said.
