The Planning Commission will begin its review of the city Comprehensive Plan and use tables at Wednesday’s meeting, 7 p.m. at Centennial Hall.
The public can attend in person or via Zoom.
The commission will focus on the housing and economic development portion of the comprehensive plan. Members will also review general service uses, as laid out in city’s use tables.
Planning Director Amy Ainslie said the review comes as part of the Planning Commission’s routine duties.
“The Planning Commission regularly is supposed to review the comprehensive plan and to prioritize the action items within it to plan out work for the commission and for staff for the upcoming year,” Ainslie said this afternoon. “Some goals are long-ranging, and might involve other commissions or departments as well.”
She said the commission invites and encourages public comment.
“It’s very helpful for the commission to hear from the community what its priorities are,” she said.
