Road to Close
Harbor Mountain Road will be closed to vehicles from Sept. 29 through Oct. 1.
The Sitka Ranger District said heavy equipment will be operating on the road to complete needed maintenance, including ditch work and culvert replacement. Foot traffic is also being discouraged while construction is ongoing.

Blessing of Pets
Service on Sunday
A Blessing of the Pets service is planned 2 p.m. Oct. 2 on the front lawn of the Sitka Pioneers Home.
