Shee Atika Announces Interim Exec Officer

    Shee Atika Inc. has announced that as of Nov. 19 Ptarmica McConnell is interim senior executive officer of the Sitka urban Native corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates.
    “Ptarmica replaces Dr. Ken Cameron who has served as Shee Atiká’s CEO since 2010,” the corporation states on its web page.
    McConnell, who began with Shee Atika in 2007 as an accountant, also has served as controller, and as chief operating officer.
    “SAI’s Board is nearing the end of its CEO selection process (which has been ongoing for several months) and plans to have a permanent CEO in place shortly,” the website states under “Latest News.”
    The company’s website says she has a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in service operations management from the University of Alaska Southeast.
