Sitka police served a search warrant at an undisclosed address here June 10 and seized a large amount of controlled substances, drug distribution paraphernalia, money and firearms, the police department announced today.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, police said in a news release.
Officers did not disclose the residence where the search took place, saying the investigation is ongoing.
“During the search officers located 441 grams of methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $66,000, and 8.4 grams of heroin, with an estimated street value of $1,680,” police said. “Money and firearms were also located in the residence with the drugs.”
Police said further details will be released as soon as available.
