Sitkans to Vote in Municipal Election

    Sitka voters go to the polls Tuesday to elect two Assembly members and one School Board member, and decide on a proposition amending the Sitka General Code to include a ban on disposable plastic shopping bags.
    Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Harrigan Centennial Hall. Precinct 1 will vote in rooms 5 and 6; Precinct 2 in rooms 2 and 3.
