Sitka remained on high alert today, with eight positive tests for COVID over the last two days.
However, the case rate remained the same, since the same number of cases dropped off that were added to the seven-week timeline.
The total number of cases on the Sitka dashboard for the week was 26, setting the case rate at 305.06, which is the number of weekly cases adjusted for 100,000 population.
One case was reported for Monday and seven for Tuesday on the state cases dashboard. The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services has gone to reporting case updates just on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and the city is updating its dashboard on the same schedule.
