The following calls were logged as of 8 a.m. today.
May 30
At 12:25 a.m. a man was reported sleeping in his car at Back Beach. Police found he was safe.
A caller requested a welfare check on an 18-year-old girl. Police located her and advised her to call home.
A stalking order was served on a man.
A child porn case was opened on a computer user.
A welfare check was requested on a teenager who had jumped out of a car and run off. Police found he was fine.
A man complained he was being harassed by the family of a teenager.
At 10:39 p.m. a caller reported a reckless driver in the 2900 block of HPR. Police didn’t find a vehicle matching the description.
May 31
At 12:51 a.m. a caller complained of noise at a residence on Darrin Drive. All was quiet when police checked.
At 4:47 a.m. a driver age 16 was reported to have lost control in the 1500 block of HPR and hit a power pole. No injuries were reported, and a tow truck was called.

James M. O’Brien, 32, was arrested Tuesday on charges of theft in the second degree and criminal trespass in the first degree.

Area hunters are asked to donate animal hides to the Elks Lodge veterans program. The deer, elk, moose, bear, goat, or any other hides are tanned and turned over to the veterans and several children’s hospitals to make braces and to be used in therapy work. Orange collection barrels have been set up at Sandy Beach, behind the Elks Lodge, at the city dump and 3 Mile Sawmill Creek Road.
